Robot Tricycle

An exploration of junk. Made entirely from ‘junk’ except for a few switches this robot was made to see how simple a robot could be made and yet display responses to its environment. It would move forwards as a default, hit an object, reverse, adjust its steering, move forwards again. Whilst doing this it squirted water, smoke, sounded a horn, and often left a trail of battery acid, molten steel, and broken stuff. No microprosessors of any kind were used – all of the timing mechanisms were made from syringes and home made air / oil valves.
